Steve
Grennek, Steve is a native of New Castle, Pennsylvania. He graduated from King’s Way in 2001. Before attending King’s Way, Steve worked as a graphic designer in the Washington, DC area for several years. After King’s Way, He began an outreach ministry to the homeless here in downtown McAllen. In 2002 Steve departed for Mexico. He taught English at a Christian elementary school in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. While there, he also participated in a street witnessing ministry. In 2003 Steve left the teaching position to pursue additional Spanish language and Bible training at Palabra de Vida Bible Institute in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He also, served with Youth With A Mission in Juárez, Mexico in the state of Chihuahua. Steve has participated in short-term mission trips to Kenya, Africa and to India. He is involved in a missions organization called Adopt A Village, Inc. which support local pastors and evangelists in several Asian countries. Steve
recently married Stefanie Smith (also a King’s Way graduate). The newlywed
couple serves the Lord together here in our communications department. Steve’s
responsibilities include design and update of the website, design of the newsletter
and assisting Stefanie with writing tasks. Steve also maintains the schools computers
and network. |
