Rebecca Ward
Conversation I & II Instructor

Rebecca Ward is a native of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and grew up in rural Kansas. After coming to King’s Way in 1999-2000 with her parents, she served with them on the mission field in Dr. Arroyo, Nuevo Leon (Mexico) for six years before feeling called to return to McAllen, Texas to further her education and teach Spanish at King’s Way.

While in Mexico, she taught private ESL classes for both children and adults, and worked in a ministry with temporarily displaced families in need of physical, emotional, and spiritual respite. She has also served on several short-term mission teams to various countries in Western Europe, and feels a passion for future involvement in missions around the world.

She has been teaching at King’s Way for one year now, and this year is teaching conversation classes.

Currently, she is also pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English and Communications at The University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, and enjoys using her learned skills in both areas to edit written publications for her parents’ ministry and others, and to submit periodic short works for publication.Home
