New Hope for Healing in South Texas

God still heals in our days! Millions of people worldwide can testify to this wonderful truth. The Rio Grande Valley Healing Rooms, established by director, Rev. Art Beckwith, offer believers and seekers the opportunity to be healed by the prayer of faith. Essentially, the rooms are like a spiritual clinic, open to the public. The concept originated with the John G. Lake Healing Rooms of Washington state during the early 1900's. By being bold enough to believe the truth of God's Word, John G. Lake and his assistant ministers profoundly impacted their region. Thousands of sick and suffering people were restored to health. Right here in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley, Art Beckwith has been actively training teams of intercessors to continue this move of God into the 21st century. His teams are experienced in praying with those desiring a breakthrough, whether the need is physical, emotional, spiritual or financial.

The trained staff of the R.G.V. Healing Rooms is availabe every Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM to minister healing to your body, soul and spirit.

Upon completion of the construction of the new building, the healing rooms will be incorporated into the R.G.V. Prayer Center in Mission, Texas. Check back for updates.

Our Vision and Mission

• To bring and perpetuate healing to the Body of Christ so that the Body of Christ can bring healing to the Valley.
  
  
• To heal and release believers into the healing ministry according to Mark 16:17: "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons: they will speak with new tongues, they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover."
  
  
• To perpetuate the vision into the whole church to reach the whole city, that every person be brought to a place of salvation and healing, because the whole person needs to be impacted by God according to 1 Thes. 5:23: "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

God's Will to Heal: The Biblical Basis

Matthew 8:1-3: "When He was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, there came a leper and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed."

Matthew 8:14-17 "And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. And He touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses."

Peter's Testimony of Christ in Acts 10:38: "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him."

Prayer for Healing

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your living Word. You said that your Word is life to those who find it and medicine to all their flesh. Today, by my confession, I apply your Word to my body by giving voice to it.

You said in Psalm 139:14 that I am fearfully and wonderfully made and that all your works are marvelous. I declare that You created me and I am a marvelous creation.

I speak to sickness and disease today and proclaim that according to Philippians 2:10 that every infirmity must bow down to the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Everything in heaven, on earth and under the earth bows its knee to Jesus' name.

I speak to my body today and declare that I have authority over it. I command it to receive the Word of God. Matthew 8:17 proclaims that Jesus bore my sicknesses and took my infirmities.

Heavenly Father, I thank you that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me and makes alive my mortal body.

I speak to my immune system and command it to line up with the Word of God. My immune system will destroy sickness and disease in my body and perform its job; for this is what God created it to do.

I thank you Father that every cell in my body responds to your Word. Your Word permeates my body from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. I confess that the Word of God is being made flesh in me.

Psalm 103:3 declares that you Father, forgave all my iniquities and healed all my diseases. Father, that is your confession and I make it my confession also. I don't judge by the sight of my eyes, I judge by your Living Word. It is your Word that lives in me and brings health and healing to every part of my body.

Heavenly Father, I rejoice at your promise of divine health. You said it and I believe it! Today, I declare that I will see your promise of healing manifest in my body.

Healing is mine because Jesus paid the price two thousand years ago. God so loved me that He sent His Son to die on the cross so that I could experience life on God's terms -- His abundant life manifesting in me, making me whole -- body, soul and spirit.
